Reliabit,LLC , founded in 2002, is a small independent software development company. The focus of the limited liability company (LLC) is mobile game development. Reliabit,LLC is incorporated in the state of California, USA.
Initially, Reliabit's focus was network data distribution systems. Thus, the company name inferring to "reliable" router ip multicast and "bit" for data. The software product of this effort was the Multicast Data Distribution Software (MDDS) offering on the Linux and Mac platforms.
In 2005, the company changed its focus to the small 3D Mac games market. With rapid growth in the mobile market, in 2008, the company refined its scope to 3D games on the mobile iOS platform. Reliabit,LLC is the creator of numerous iOS and Mac game titles such as: Ant Planet, Astroidica, Emerald Run, Sea Assault, Ramblin Ambulance and Sea Copter . All of these games use Reliabit's own native proprietary data driven software engine.

About the President and Founder
Reliabit was founded by John Ostrom. Prior to the creation of Reliabit, John was a senior engineer at Akamai Technologies, Inktomi Corporation and InterVU Incorporated. Moreover, John has engaged in iOS and Mac OS software consulting with companies in the San Diego, California area. John received a bachelors degree in computer engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
In his earlier years, at Santa Monica High School, John received the Santa Monica Art Teachers Association 1st place in Fine Arts ( 1989 ) and Laddie John Dill Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fine Arts ( 1989 ) .
