Ant Planet Status

Ouch, there was another resubmission of Ant Planet. The clock will be reset about two weeks. I resubmitted about two days ago. Given the process takes two weeks with 75% approval probability ( according to Apple ), that would put the release roughly around November 25 timeframe.  Initially, I was having second thoughts about resubmitting late in the process but I think it was the right thing to do.

An issue with regard to collision detection/getting stuck and background objects was addressed. There was also a minor tweak to driving.

I had taken a few days off from working on the project after the last submission. Then when I reviewed again, I had a moment of seeing it differently. Just want to make sure all baseline behavior is working. QA is especially difficult if your a solo developer. Fighting "the blindness".

Before, I ran the static analysis check with XCode. No real big issues there. And I had run the program through with Shark. The Shark analysis indicated performance hits with regard to ray polygon intersections with Coldet. So, I focused some optimizations on that. Its fun having Shark analyze on the device but you have to open up your firewall settings to get to the device.
