The Reliabit Multicast Data Distribution System ( MDDS ) is an Internet Protocol (IP) Multicast based file transfer system. The system is designed to transmit files from one locus computer to a large number of target computers simultaneously and efficiently. The program deals with the scale issues of copying files from the one to the many. In addition, the system offers security features for the encryption of data in transit, packet correction of multicast data, and distribution management. The feature set can be accessed through an intuitive, secure web interface or c++ application programmers interface ( API ) . The system is completely configurable through an extensible markup language ( XML ), Document Type Definition (DTD) configuration and Configcast dynamic broadcast configuration feature.
